Annecy
Annecy: This blog post is written by Gaelle, another lovely student who stayed with us in 2014.
Every year I go to Annecy during the summer holidays. Annecy is a town in the Rhone-Alpes region in the southeast of France, in the Haute-Savoie department. The town had a population of 50254 in 2009, and it's surface area is 13,65km2. In the summer the temperature is very hot.
There is a place in this town that I like very much: the bridge in “Annecy le Vieux”. On this bridge in the evenings there are musicians, designers, painters and different craftsmen. I like this place so much because it's very relaxing and calm and on this bridge we can see the mountains and sunset between them.
During the night the lights are reflected on the water and the temperature is very moderate. In “Annecy le Vieux” there are a lot of little streets with shops selling things from the region. I love this town because it is a traditional French town.
Thank you Gaelle! I must visit it sometime.
